Phillips Cider Bar & Pizzeria is part of Phillips Orchards & Cider Mill, a 6 generation family orchard that has been growing apples, peaches, plums, and pears since 1852. We are dedicated to providing excellent locally grown and produced food products & hard ciders in a sustainable manner. Phillips is known for delightful service and quality product. Our offerings include fresh fruit, sweet apple cider year-round, hard cider, pizza, and baked goods made from scratch. We have four locations in the Mid-Michigan Area.

Summary

We are seeking a part time staff member to join our team at Phillips Cider Bar & Pizzeria. The newest of the Phillips offering. In this role, you will help with the operation of our Cider Bar & Pizzeria, ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers while managing our selection of hard ciders and food offerings. We offer sit down dining as well as take away.

Responsibilities

• Manage closing operations of the bar & restaurant area including staff supervision.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction are met.
• Oversee inventory management for hard ciders and bar supplies.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during busy periods.

Requirements

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• Knowledge of beverage service, particularly in craft ciders or beers.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and staff.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
• Ability to manage inventory.
• Knowledge of Pizza Preparation
