What you’ll do

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring clarity and attention to detail.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, enhancing the dining experience through effective upselling techniques.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Manage guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
• Process payments accurately through cash handling or cashiering duties, ensuring a seamless checkout experience for guests.
• Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to create an inviting atmosphere.

Basic qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience in a server role is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a busy environment.

Preferred qualifications

• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with OpenTable for reservation management enhances guest relations.
• Experience in fine dining settings is highly valued.
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling are essential.
