Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring proper presentation and quality
• Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with basic math proficiency
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, and menu items to elevate the dining experience

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport and handle diverse needs gracefully
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order entry and sales processing
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
• Ability to handle food safety protocols and sanitation standards diligently
• Previous experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
