Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, food and beverage knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently during busy hours. Experience with POS systems and a background in food service or fine dining is preferred. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Harbortouch
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and preparation
• Support host/host duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Harbortouch
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for cashiering and processing payments accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Experience in food handling, food preparation, or kitchen environment is advantageous
• Previous host/host or bussing experience is beneficial
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; weekend availability may be required
• Demonstrated ability in guest relations, hospitality, and providing an exceptional dining experience
