Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Experience with food service, POS systems, and hospitality standards is essential. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Shift4, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations; assist with bussing tables as needed
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards during food handling and serving
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
• Support guest relations by providing personalized service, addressing questions, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the meal

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; Breakfast and lunch experience is a bonus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Shift4 POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest relations
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and restaurant revenue
• Basic math skills for cashiering, bill splitting, and handling cash transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous
• Strong communication skills coupled with a professional appearance and demeanor
