Job Overview

This is a year-round position.
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender and sever to join our dynamic team. Looking for someone for Saturdays and sundays.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events such as banquets and catering functions.
• Utilize time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Stay informed about drink specials, menu changes, and promotions to effectively upsell to customers.
• Assist in training new staff on bar operations, customer service techniques, and POS systems.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices within the food industry.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
• Experience in fine dining or banquet settings is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the business needs.
