Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Toast POS
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring proper presentation and safety standards
• Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with professionalism
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
• Foster guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Toast POS Systems
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktail mixing, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
• Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards preferred
• Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or cashier is advantageous
• Knowledge of food industry practices including food handling, food preparation, and restaurant operations
