Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and a lively, welcoming attitude. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas including tables, bar, and service stations
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order entry and sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest relations professionally
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organization skills
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain required sanitation training prior to start date
• Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus but not mandatory; a passion for food industry trends is valued
• Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or bartender is desirable
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment
