Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with precision
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation quality and adherence to food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure timely service during busy periods
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing
• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong culinary knowledge including cocktail mixing, spirits expertise, wine pairing, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and sales processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience with OpenTable reservations system is a plus for managing guest bookings smoothly
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Pay: $4.35 per hour
