Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with precision
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, spirits, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
• Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently
• Demonstrate extensive beverage knowledge including spirits, wine pairings, and cocktail recipes to educate guests and elevate their experience
• Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolve concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations
• Support sanitation protocols including proper food handling and cleanliness of work areas

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Experience working with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Proven ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts in fine dining or nightclub environments
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive approach to guest interactions
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing tabs seamlessly
• Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Experience in serving at upscale restaurants or nightlife venues is a plus but not required

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
