Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems ensuring clear communication of guest preferences and special requests
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage table turnover by bussing, resetting, and assisting with food handling and sanitation procedures
• Ensure food safety standards are upheld through proper food handling, storage, and cleanliness practices
• Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for maximum efficiency

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining excellent guest service
• Experience with food preparation, basic math for cash handling, and cashiering enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Familiarity with food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques is essential
• Prior host/hostess or serving experience in a hospitality setting will support your success in creating welcoming guest relations
• A background in culinary arts or food industry roles can provide valuable insight into menu offerings and guest needs
