Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities
• Process cash and credit card payments accurately while handling cash transactions with integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation or plating when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Experience

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience with fine dining or casual dining settings enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service is advantageous
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs effectively
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that fosters guest loyalty
• Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices is beneficial for maintaining health standards
