Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items including appetizers, shakes , and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling and cashiering duties with integrity
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including food safety standards
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle multiple tables efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality service
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
