Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items including specialty cocktails, wines, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales transactions processing
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including wine knowledge and spirits experience, to answer guest questions confidently
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling and beverage service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
• Manage guest relations by providing personalized service that exceeds expectations in both casual and fine dining settings
• Assist with opening or closing duties as needed to ensure cleanliness and organization of the service area

Qualifications

• Proven food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, with a preference for fine dining or nightclub experience
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Demonstrated ability in sales techniques including upselling beverages like spirits, wine, and cocktails
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Experience with beverage service including drink preparation, cocktail experience, and spirits knowledge
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Hospitality background with strong guest relations skills; experience working in a nightclub or high-volume setting is a plus
