Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with food safety standards
• Engage with guests to ensure their needs are met, manage special requests, and foster positive guest relations

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other restaurant technology platforms
• Proven experience in food service environments such as fine dining or casual restaurants
• Strong culinary knowledge including wine pairings, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing exceptional customer service
• Solid understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Effective math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales records
