Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant food and beverage team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a positive attitude. Your energy and hospitality will help create memorable moments for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied from the moment they arrive until their departure. Evening and weekend availability is a must. Responsibilities

• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems like Aloha or Lemi to ensure swift and precise processing.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend popular dishes or drinks, and upsell add-ons and dessert to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Serve food and beverages promptly maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety.
• Check in with guests regularly during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and making change from personal bank maintaining accountability for all sales and cash.
• Complete daily side work and running side work quickly and thoroughly throughout and after shift. This includes: pre-bussing all dishes during guest meal, bussing and resetting tables throughout restaurant, running hot food, running bar drinks, rolling silverware, keeping the restaurant clean, and supporting kitchen staff and all front of house coworkers to ensure smooth service flow.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros for order entry and payment processing.
• Proven experience in food service and especially in fine dining or fast paced family restaurants.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to maximize sales opportunities.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food preparation techniques.
• Previous restaurant experience that demonstrates reliability in serving guests professionally.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and managing tabs seamlessly.
• Experience with bussing tables, hosting duties is a plus.
