Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, providing excellent guest relations from start to finish
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items including wine, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations by bussing tables and assisting with sanitation protocols
• Support food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and ensuring compliance with health regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
• knowledge of POS systems
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building
• Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills in a fast-paced setting
• Culinary experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus for understanding menu items and ingredients
• Beverage expertise including cocktail making, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and drink service techniques
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
