Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional service, ensuring guests feel welcomed, valued, and well-attended to from start to finish
• Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar
• Deliver food and drinks to guests, ensuring all dishes meet Max Downtown’s high standards for presentation and temperature
• Offer wine and beverage recommendations, sharing knowledge about the menu, wines, and craft cocktails
• Address guest inquiries and handle requests with professionalism and grace
• Ensure that all guest orders are accurate, including noting allergies or dietary restrictions
• Follow steps of service to ensure smooth and efficient dining experiences
• Work closely with other team members to maintain a high level of service during busy periods
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment in the dining area

What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

• At least 1–2 years of recent experience as a Server in a fine-dining establishment
• Knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails is required
• Ability to handle special requests and dietary restrictions with professionalism and grace
• Experience following steps of service and providing attentive, knowledgeable service

• Strong communication skills, both with guests and team members
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Friendly, engaging personality with a passion for delivering outstanding service
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and be proactive in addressing requests
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining composure
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shifts
