Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, knowledge of food and beverage offerings, and the ability to work efficiently during busy hours. Experience with POS systems and a passion for hospitality are highly valued. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items including wine, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including handling cash safely
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks if needed to support team operations
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and drink options based on guest preferences
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns professionally and courteously
• Support opening or closing duties as assigned to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for processing bills and making change confidently
• Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Previous hospitality experience demonstrating excellent guest relations skills is highly desirable
