Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring precise processing of sales transactions
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails and spirits, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change while adhering to cash handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting in food handling and preparation when needed
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order entry and sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest concerns professionally
• Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation techniques
• Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while multitasking between serving tables and processing transactions
• Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation, change giving, and sales reporting
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, food handling procedures, and proper beverage service etiquette

Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour
