Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Server to join our dynamic hospitality team! Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and bartenders
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments, while adhering to cash handling procedures
• Upsell menu items such as specialty drinks or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling as needed
• Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for processing sales transactions
• Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation techniques
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling procedures
• Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling protocols
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with OpenTable reservations system is advantageous but not required
