Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros or Aloha POS, ensuring clarity and completeness
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, while maintaining proper beverage presentation standards
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed, ensuring timely delivery of orders

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros or Aloha POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
• Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Culinary experience or kitchen support skills are advantageous for collaboration with kitchen staff
