Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper handling of special requests and dietary needs
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food preparation when needed
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring overall satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and reservations management
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during busy shifts
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with food industry terminology, serving techniques, and basic math for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
