Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise entry
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction through attentive service
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, assist with bussing, and support food safety protocols in food handling and sanitation practices

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or food industry settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Culinary experience or background in food preparation is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Proven ability in upselling, sales techniques, and guest relations to enhance the dining experience
• Experience working in nightlife venues or nightclubs is advantageous but not required
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and basic math for cash handling
