Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and a lively, welcoming attitude. Your role is vital in creating memorable moments for our guests while ensuring smooth restaurant operations. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while managing cash handling responsibilities
• Maintain knowledge of wine pairings, cocktail recipes, and food industry trends to inform guest recommendations
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure seamless service flow

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor and excellent guest relations abilities
• Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and handling cash accurately
• Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation standards required; culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous
• Previous experience in serving, bartending, or host/hostess roles preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential

Pay: $23.95 - $35.00 per hour
