Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with bussing tables, food handling, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of drink service, cocktail recipes, wine pairings, and spirits to educate guests when appropriate
• Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining a friendly attitude
• Basic math skills for bill calculations and sales processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building
• Culinary experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
