Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments
• Upsell menu items, wine pairings, cocktails, and specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met in accordance with health regulations
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, including cocktail recipes, spirits, wine selections, and food ingredients
• Assist with food preparation when necessary and support kitchen staff during busy periods
• Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Handle drink service at bar areas or nightclub settings with professionalism and flair
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies for smooth service flow

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability in upselling beverages, spirits, wine, and menu items to maximize sales opportunities
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing time effectively
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and handling sales reports
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
• Experience with cocktail preparation, beverage service, and drink presentation techniques
• Familiarity with food handling practices within the food industry or restaurant setting
• Strong communication skills to engage guests confidently and professionally

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
