Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing of sales transactions
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
• Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for maximum efficiency
• Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting the culinary team in a fast-paced environment
• Uphold hospitality standards by providing excellent guest relations, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring a positive dining experience

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for seamless sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently in a busy setting
• Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
• Culinary experience or food industry background is highly desirable
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue opportunities
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth operations
