Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using Toast POS.
• Provide detailed information about menu items.
• Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly, ensuring accuracy in orders.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Assist with training new staff members as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
