Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS systems ensuring clarity and efficiency
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards for fine dining or casual settings
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food preparation to uphold safety standards and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items, specials, or beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills and tips
• Support restaurant operations by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with host/hostess duties when needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including dining settings
• Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and billing
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask efficiently with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in serving, bartending, or host/hostess roles is highly desirable
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling; attention to detail is essential
