Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, ensuring proper handling of cash handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by bussing and resetting tables promptly
• Ensure food safety standards are met during food handling and preparation processes
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed in a fast-paced environment
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, wine knowledge, or beverage options
• Support sanitation protocols to uphold health regulations and food industry standards

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with fine dining or nightclub exposure preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while multitasking efficiently
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques including drink presentation and spirits experience
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions confidently
• Culinary experience or food industry background is a plus for understanding menu offerings and food safety practices
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members seamlessly
• Experience in guest services roles such as host/hostess or bartender enhances your ability to connect with guests quickly

Pay: From $2.13 per hour
