Duties

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
• Culinary experience or understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes
