Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them through the menu options with enthusiasm and detailed knowledge of offerings
• Take accurate food, beverage, and cocktail orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages with professionalism, including spirits and wine service, maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations while adhering to sanitation regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, demonstrating strong communication skills
• Assist guests with special requests or dietary needs by providing detailed menu knowledge and personalized service
• Support beverage service including cocktail preparation, wine recommendations, and drink presentation to elevate the dining experience

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale bars
• Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order entry and sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest relations and guest satisfaction
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating bills or tips
• Knowledge of wine types, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation techniques
• Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a clean and safe environment
• Experience with food handling, food preparation support, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen area
