Nora Blú is an upscale Mediterranean restaurant and lounge opening in the heart of Mt. Vernon, Baltimore. Blending coastal elegance, elevated cuisine, craft cocktails, and live entertainment, we are building a team focused on delivering exceptional hospitality and unforgettable guest experiences.

We are currently seeking professional, energetic, and hospitality-driven servers to join our opening team.

What We’re Looking For in a Server

• Previous serving experience in upscale or high-volume restaurants preferred
• Take and accurately relay customer orders for food and drinks using POS systems such as Toast.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to provide attentive, personalized service without being intrusive
• Knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails (Mediterranean cuisine knowledge is a plus)
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a strong work ethic and reliability
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Comfortable working in an environment with live entertainment and nightlife energy

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is required; fine dining or banquet experience is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, proper food handling techniques, and basic math for cash transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and knowledgeable service to guests from greeting to payment
• Guide guests through menu selections and make recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar teams
• Uphold Nora Blú’s standards of service, presentation, and guest experience
