Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic food service team. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms.
• Take accurate orders from guests, providing detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials and wine pairings.
• Use POS systems like Aloha POS or Genius POS to process orders efficiently and accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with precision.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, dining stations, and service stations, adhering to sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food safety protocols at all times.
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and managing guest relations to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
• Handle guest inquiries or concerns professionally, ensuring their needs are met with promptness and courtesy.
• Support opening or closing duties as assigned, including sanitation checks and inventory management.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Genius POS, or similar platforms for order processing.
• Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest interactions.
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes.
• Experience with reservation platforms like OpenTable is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and bill splitting accurately.
