Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations

Skills

• Fluent in English & Haitian Creol preferred
• Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other restaurant technology tools
• Proven experience in food service environments such as fine dining, casual restaurants, or nightclubs
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in sales transactions processing
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or bartender is a plus
• Basic math skills for bill calculation and change handling
• Ability to work efficiently in high-energy environments while maintaining professionalism
• Must hold an active driver's license preferred
