The Service Associate is the face of the restaurant. They are responsible for creating memorable dining experiences through genuine hospitality, attentive service, and professional product knowledge. Every guest interaction should leave a lasting positive impression.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience

• Welcome every guest warmly and professionally.
• Escort guests to their tables where appropriate.
• Present menus confidently and explain concepts, dishes, and beverages.
• Build genuine rapport with guests while maintaining professionalism.
• Anticipate guest needs before they are requested.
• Handle guest feedback promptly and professionally.

Food & Beverage Service

• Take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the menu, ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, and beverage pairings.
• Ensure tables remain clean, organized, and well-maintained throughout the meal.
• Monitor guest satisfaction continuously during service.

Hospitality Excellence

• Recognize returning guests where possible.
• Personalize service whenever appropriate.
• Celebrate guest occasions professionally.
• Resolve minor service issues immediately before escalation.
• Represent the restaurant with warmth, confidence, and authenticity.

Sales & Product Knowledge

• Recommend signature dishes and premium menu items.
• Suggest appropriate beverage pairings.
• Upsell naturally through genuine recommendations rather than aggressive selling.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of seasonal and promotional offerings.

Restaurant Operations

• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and service stations.
• Polish cutlery, glassware, and tableware.
• Assist with reservations and seating coordination when required.
• Ensure all service equipment is prepared before service.
