Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and openTable reservations with precision and professionalism
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and service
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to maintain smooth operations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast POS, Touch BistroPOS, and OpenTable for reservations management
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest relations
• Culinary experience or background in food preparation is a plus for understanding menu items and ingredients
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with host/hostess duties, bussing tables, or serving in nightclub atmospheres is advantageous
• Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order calculations
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and guest services team
