Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting sanitation protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery for a seamless dining experience
• Assist with food handling, beverage service, and basic math calculations for accurate check processing
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and creating a welcoming environment

Requirements

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and sales processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
• Basic math skills for processing bills and managing sales transactions
• Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Experience in serving in high-energy environments like nightclubs or fast-paced restaurants is advantageous
• Valid food handling certification (if applicable) and willingness to learn about our menu offerings

Pay: $6.38 - $30.44 per hour
