Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
• Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during transactions and process payments efficiently using POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation and handling procedures
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Upselling techniques to promote menu items confidently without being pushy
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
