Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and beverage service practices
• Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setting up tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the dining area is inviting for guests

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars
• Strong knowledge of POS systems for seamless order processing and sales transactions
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse guest needs professionally
• Culinary experience or food industry background that supports menu familiarity and food preparation awareness
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining quality service
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques including drink mixing and presentation
• Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation, change handling, and sales processing
• Understanding of sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and proper food handling procedures
• Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction, upselling opportunities, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
