We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all service standards are met.

■ Duties

• Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices.
• Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently.
• Uphold food safety standards in accordance with health regulations during food handling and preparation.

■ Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Japanese restaurant.
• Familiarity with SpotOn systems is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests and provide outstanding guest relations.
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.

Pay: $16.90 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
