Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options including wine and beers.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems ensuring timely processing of sales transactions.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and safety.
• Upsell menu items including specialty drinks, wine pairings, or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, process payments swiftly, and handle customer inquiries with professionalism.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas including tables, bar stations, and beverage stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly to guarantee satisfaction.
• Support other team members with bussing tables, setting up stations, or assisting during busy hours to ensure smooth operations.

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred; asian restaurants experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining excellent guest relations.
• Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for processing transactions and handling cash confidently.
• Knowledge of openTable reservation systems or similar platforms is beneficial but not required.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
