Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to set a positive tone for their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS software, ensuring timely entry and processing
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while balancing registers at shift end
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met by following proper food handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations, adhering to sanitation protocols
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Requirements

• Prior food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS software, is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations
• Experience with food industry standards for serving, upselling, and guest engagement
• Kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: $15.90 per hour
