Server

We are looking for an energetic and guest-focused Server to join our fast-paced Japanese BBQ team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant—delivering exceptional table-side service, guiding guests through our All-You-Can-Eat menu, and ensuring every meal is a memorable experience. You’ll work closely with both front-of-house and kitchen teams to maintain high standards of hospitality, speed, and food quality. You will be compensated with an hourly wage and tips.

Responsibilities

• Guest Engagement: Warmly welcome and seat guests, present menus, and expertly explain our All-You-Can-Eat Japanese BBQ concept.
• Order Management: Accurately take and input food and drink orders into the POS system, ensuring special dietary requests are clearly communicated to the kitchen.
• Table Service: Efficiently deliver dishes and beverages, monitor tables throughout the meal, and proactively address any guest needs.
• Menu Expertise & Sales: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our menu items, sauces, and allergens to make compelling recommendations and upsell specialties.
• Dining Room Maintenance: Bus and reset tables quickly to keep guest flow moving smoothly and maintain a spotless dining area.
• Team Collaboration: Partner with kitchen staff to ensure prompt order delivery while strictly adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Restocking: Keep service stations fully stocked with side dishes, sauces, utensils, and supplies throughout your shift.

Qualifications & Skills

• Hospitality Mindset: Exceptional communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport and handle busy shifts with composure.
• Tech Savvy: Hands-on experience with POS systems (Aloha/NCR preferred) and familiarity with platform management (e.g., Yelp Waitlist) is a plus.
• Efficiency & Multitasking: Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Safety Knowledge: Understanding of safe food-handling practices, prep standards, and health regulations.
• Experience: Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are most important!

Compensation

• Base hourly wage + tips

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.90 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 25.0 per week
