Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks confidently, including handling drink service and food presentation in fine dining or casual settings
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales records
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling areas, dining spaces, and bar stations
• Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure a seamless guest experience

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants, bars, or nightclubs is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Experience in fine dining environments or hospitality settings is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest satisfaction through exceptional service
