Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally and promptly

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
• Experience in fine dining environments or nightclubs enhances your ability to excel in fast-paced settings
• Knowledge of wine service, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage sales techniques is advantageous
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
