Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Shift 4 POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, adhering to food safety regulations
• Assist in food preparation and serving to ensure prompt service during busy periods
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate order accuracy and timely delivery of meals
• Manage guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience
• Support team members with food handling, sanitation, and overall restaurant operations as needed

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Experience with OpenTable and POS systems such as Shift 4 POS is advantageous
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and bill splitting
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Hospitality mindset with a passion for serving guests and creating memorable experiences
