Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift’s end
• Assist with food preparation, food handling, and sanitation to uphold food safety standards in compliance with health regulations
• Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes and resetting tables for new guests
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience
• Support host/host duties when needed, including seating guests using OpenTable or similar reservation systems
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, kitchen stations, and service areas following sanitation protocols
• Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff to coordinate timely service in fast-paced environments such as fine dining or nightclubs

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively in busy settings while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
• Hospitality background or serving experience that demonstrates adaptability in diverse environments

Pay: $851.57 - $1,025.54 per week
