About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Server/Waiter/Waitress to join our hospitality team at Lago Bali. This is a full-time position based in Nusa Lembongan Klungkung, Bali, where you will be at the heart of our guests' dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, ensuring every guest leaves with memorable moments and a desire to return. This role is pivotal in upholding our reputation for outstanding hospitality and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all our patrons.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and seating them at their designated tables in a timely and courteous manner

• Presenting menus and providing knowledgeable recommendations about our food and beverage offerings

• Taking accurate food and beverage orders and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff

• Serving food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct orders are delivered to the right guests

• Checking on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and addressing any concerns or requests

• Clearing and resetting tables between service periods to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards

• Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times

• Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service operations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Server or Waiter/Waitress role within a hospitality setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly regarding order accuracy and presentation standards
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry food and beverage items safely
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining composure and a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
• A genuine passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and etiquette
• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are advantageous
• Reliability and punctuality are paramount
